I personally like the font spacing which makes it easy to read. The posts are well spaced out. The right sidebar has the option to feature select posts. If you are looking to start a blog, this wordpress theme is highly recommended.

The digital statement wordpress themes is a successor to the very popular statement theme. Simple, elegant and understated, this is one of my personal favorites when it comes to balance between a personal blog and a magazine style theme. While it will work without most of them, this wordpress theme does require a good number of plugins to come out with its full potential. However once you have it set up, it probably will be the one that you use for a long time to come.

Golfy is a great all round wordpress theme which is suited for everybody and not just golf fans. It has a nice clear and crisp layout with a two column right sidebar. Navigation is through a multi-level drop down menu which could have done slightly better. The twitter panel on the top right will have all your tweets streaming in at the most prominent position. One major drawback is the front page image which, if you are not really into the sport or don’t fancy having a major portion of the front page covered with nothing else but an image, will have to be replaced with something else.

Blue Diamond Wordpress Theme

Blue Diamond Wordpress theme is a well designed theme that is dark yet colorful. While I liked the overall use of space (things are well spaced out), the dark shade for the font couple with an even darker background made reading a tad difficult. Having said that, this wordpress theme is great for personal blogging. The index page has a featured post section which is controlled by the Feature Me plugin.

Aspire wordpress theme is off the beaten path. The old paper background along the medieval lines make it stand out. Another interesting feature tucked away neatly into the top sidebar is the option to increase or decrease the font size of the post which makes it easier for everyone to read. As I said, this wordpress theme is unlike most others that you will see coming your way and that is something that may prevent it from being a all purpose wordpress theme.

Jin is a unique wordpress theme. Rarely do you see designers experiment with aspect ratios as high as the ones that you will see in this wordpress theme. So if photography is your thing and you are looking to cath people’s imagination right from the word go, this is a a theme you should try. The sidebar has been placed at the bottom, something that is common for most photoblogs and which leaves a lot of space for showcasing stuff on the index page right at the top.
